faith building cycle - renewing commitment
Ever wonder how you could increase your ability to believe God, i.e., increase your faith? I've thought about it for better than 50 years and think I've found a scripturally based method. Living by faith is a deliberate action based on a conscience decision to do something on purpose. In Christ, led by God's Spirit we can change our human nature into the likeness of Christ-a spiritual being no longer trapped by impulsive instinct.

it helps to know what you don't know
From Socrates (399 BC) to Secretary of Defense Donald
Rumsfeld (2002), being aware of what you do not know or understand has been a
trait of the wise. To make wise choices you must know the difference between
the what you know and what you do not know!

What is really important? who you listen too!
I had a professor at Milligan College once say, “Be careful who
you listen too!” It made sense then, but after applying the concept for 40
years, I consider it some of the best counsel I ever received. I think it is
essentially what St. John heard during his Revelation, when he records the
Spirit’s advice, “He who has ears, let him hear!”
